Just the thing for a comfortable layout that's easy to erase with a well-textured eraser. It always seems to me that a soft pencil runs out quicker.

I have compared the photos to get pencils that are similar to the ones I have found and loved but for some reason the lead still writes wrong and the eraser is of inferior quality.

Faber Castell make a quality product. However, you should be aware that their leads are harder and lighter than American or Japanese pencils of the same brand. I got a B and it looked like an H. Otherwise the finish, wood and paint are first class.

are my favorite pencils. HB for technical editing and B3 for letter writing. HB is also my favorite to draw. they never break. Very long break point. I love them and prefer them to cheap Chinese pencils mainly for the tip retention. Also prefer them over BIC pencils as they have terrible tip retention.
