Fabriano Studio Watercolor Paper 300GSM Review

This is my second purchase of this paper. This is very good for hot press paper. I don't use it much though. I prefer to use Arches cold printing, but hot printing has completely different properties and looks than my final paintings. I wish it had more cotton in it, but it's still a pretty good paper.

Haven't used the nice semi-gloss paper yet but it feels good. I have saved this paper for finished products. The whole packaging was creased and the corners of the backing paper were slightly crumpled. For the money I paid for this paper I expected exceptional packaging from the seller.

I thought this paper would be fun to draw on because I love hot pressed watercolor paper, but it was a little disappointing. Whenever I used tape or even liquid, no matter how carefully I removed it, the paper tore easily, ruining the painting with noticeable cracks. This paper is good for drawing, but if you need to mask some areas, this paper is not recommended.
