Although the size was clearly stated, they were still smaller than I expected. This wasn't really a problem as I was able to find the exact size I needed and it's always good to have spares. Good quality trees but without foundation. That was fine because I'm installing them in holes and that would require removing the base. Not the best, but definitely 4 stars for the price.

I ordered these for my 5 year old daughter to make snow globes. We used Epsom salts on the snow and just put the trees in the salt and they held up great. They are of very good quality and look different and better than the craft trees you can buy from retail chains. The smallest trees were quite small but they were different sizes and together they made a great winter scene. I am sure that they are equally well suited for hobby landscapes. Very good for handicrafts. No, they don't have a stand at the bottom, just a stick like in the photo. You can cut very small pieces of styrofoam for them, and the bases won't appear on a styrofoam or snowpack display case. I have 15 as advertised.
