These are cute little trees for my Christmas village. I am satisfied with the appearance and quality of the trees. They were a little smaller than I expected. I think the measurements given in the description are from the bottom of the stick to the top of the tree, not the size of the green part of the tree. This is good value for money. They are much less expensive than similar trees made by a timber exhibition company. Rustic brand trees have slightly thinner needles and are ceramic based. If you want to add a primer to them, just go to a craft store and buy polymer clay or white air-dry sculptor's clay for a few dollars. It will still end up being cheaper than porcelain based trees and I doubt anyone will be able to tell the difference.
