🍺 Game of Thrones Hand of The King Bottle Opener - Factory Entertainment (Gray, 6 inches) Review

I bought a bottle opener that said 'King's Hand' to use as an accent on my dad's birthday cake because I didn't want to waste time shaping it. It was heavy/strong but not too heavy to be held together with buttercream. After it was a hit we are now using it for its intended purpose and it is holding up well.

I first saw this on Think Geek. When I decided to buy, they were sold out. After waiting a few weeks, I searched the internet and came across Revain. This bottle opener has an authentic look and a nice heavy feel. There are other Hamd of the King openers but this one looks better and is well made. GoT fans will appreciate it!

It didn't even have a bottle opener on the back that actually opens the bottle. It was brand new in a sealed box. Of course, the material seemed durable, but in fact it turned out to be a prop, not a bottle opener. I was very embarrassed after I gave it away and it turned out to be defective and I ended up going back and getting a completely different product.

I really liked the design of this bottle opener. It just looks and feels more authentic than others available on Amazon, but the actual bottle opening piece breaks easily and requires maneuvering to hook the bottle cap. It's not exceptionally bad, but as a GOT fan I was a little disappointed that it didn't stand up to the test, especially since it looks like the weight of this thing will last for years.
