Factory replacement

items received safe and sound. All parts fit my 2002 Chevy radio perfectly. The price was reasonable and the delivery was satisfactory.

Pros
  • Suitable for many
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Does not fit 2002 GMC Sierra

Volume control does not fit my 2002 GMC Sierra. The only reason I bought this is for the volume knob and it doesn't even fit. Don't waste your time and money if you own a GMC or Chevy car.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Compatibility

Comments section is correct, OEM controls have metal clips...

When the original controls break metal clips are left behind. It takes quite a bit to remove the metal "clips", just a gentle push with needle nose pliers and they're removed instantly. I wish the knobs were cheaper, but that's no longer an eyesore on my radio.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Largely ok but...

First remove the metal clips from the old handles!

Fits, if you say it doesn't fit, you haven't removed the metal clips that get caught on the shaft of old grips. Generally they are of normal quality, not as good as the original but hopefully they won't crack or break in the near future. Docking a star because $20 is pretty ridiculous for a couple of cheap pieces of plastic.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Protection

Good but not perfect

Good but not perfect. The real radio button was too short and couldn't stay. So I had to carefully use some super glue to hold it in place. All other interchangeable grips fit well. And yes, they were used in the original radio that was in my 1997 Chevy Silverado 1500 truck. If you found this review helpful, please click the button below. Thanks

Excellent replacement parts almost identical to the original

Looks like original parts, looks high quality and fits perfectly. The small treble/bass and balance controls have a slightly shorter white position indicator bar than the original but look very nice. The large volume and tuning knobs have a soft, summery finish, just like my originals. All in all a great set of parts. I am very happy with them.

First remove the small metal part!

At first I didn't think the volume control would fit my 2002 Silverado. Everything I tried wouldn't stay on and I couldn't press to turn the volume on or off. I first pointed out a return because it didn't fit; However, I had a revelation and used a pair of pliers to remove the small piece of metal that was around the metal rod that the stylus slides onto. If I made it, it's good! Now I don't have to return buttons and my truck has volume buttons! I hope this helps other people who thought theโ€ฆ
