Works as it should: Spare parts

At first I thought it would be a job and a half but once I got my hands on it it was so easy anyone could install it and it works as it should.

Watch an online video to remove the inner lining and it's as easy as peeling a pear.

For 2006 Chevy Suburban Z71 tailgate, easy to replace. The swivel part is not included, it's just the main part, I used my old one so no suggestions. Great price, GM shop wanted $640 to replace the entire rear end, only that small part broke. Highly recommended.

Worked as it should but a bit difficult to assemble

There were no installation instructions but there are good videos on YouTube on what to do. It is best to get help from the outside to control the opening and closing. Take a picture of the old one so you can make sure all the connections are where they should be. I missed something and the photo saved me.

Already gone? - Spares

Back to where we started. I just missed the 30 day return period. right part? Check. Good price? Check. Easy to install? Check. Everything is in place except now it doesn't work and I'm back where I started and reaching into the back of the truck to find the latch under the molding because my tailgate won't open. A good price isn't great if the part doesn't work.

Fit is great, durability is poor and warranty is bogus

So fit was good but only lasted 2 years. The product information also clearly states that it is covered by a lifetime warranty. I wrote to the seller that it no longer works, they told me that the guarantee is only 1 year. Not an honest company, even after I sent them a photo they have their own words of a lifetime guarantee. They wouldn't answer.

Works and fits my 2008 Hummer H2

The dealer told me about $800 to fix the rear door lock actuator. The part costs about $600, the rest is work. Also the problem was that the piece they were looking at was the entire lock assembly with a mark on the end. I figured paying $800 just to fix a door operator problem wasn't worth it. Did a little research and found that you can just buy a lock drive without buying the whole assembly. So I bought this part and installed it myself. I watched some youtube videos and voila I just fixed…
