Back to where we started. I just missed the 30 day return period. right part? Check. Good price? Check. Easy to install? Check. Everything is in place except now it doesn't work and I'm back where I started and reaching into the back of the truck to find the latch under the molding because my tailgate won't open. A good price isn't great if the part doesn't work.
