Very stable and strong to withstand heavy loads. Spins smoothly with no play and backlash. The turntable is well made and flat. It would be helpful to add a ball bearing mount which would increase its usefulness as a strapping wheel and give me a 5 star rating. Additional Note: Do not confuse this with an identical ball bearing product that costs $10 more.

For this price this is a great purchase! I am very happy with the weight and the rotation! It's heavy but not too heavy and spins very smoothly! This will be a great addition to my studio! There is a tiny, slight hint of wobble, but I don't think it's significant enough to notice (if this affects the uniform decoration of my pots, I'll come back and update my review). even if it is. For the price and the quality I received I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Love this for my clay work. I didn't want to spend a fortune on a strapping wheel and it was perfect for all needs. I found that its heavy weight will not tip over under any circumstances, it turns beautifully without a hint of wobble and the finish is perfect. I took it to class last month and several people have asked how much and where I got it. They were all surprised at how cheap the price was and most of them said they would look for it and order based on what they saw from me.
