That worked great for me.

I bought this scooter for one purpose only. I had a pre-ironed wood veneer that needed pressing while still warm (after the first ironing) and was (previously) dissatisfied with using wooden blocks (or similar) for pressing. insulated veneer. This roll is strong and turns very gently, resulting in a much more even overlap of the veneer strips. If you need something for a project like this, this is your tool! But for another application I would have no idea.

Pros
  • Print
Cons
  • Non-automatic

Making stamps for the first time!

During the quarantine I decided to try making stamps to print on some t-shirts. This little roller was perfect for transferring speedball ink onto a linoleum cutout. It was the perfect size for the small rectangular linoleum sheet I was using and when I was done I just rinsed it off with water and it was perfect again. I was concerned about ink getting between the roller components, but after a few months of use I had no problems with it. 100% will buy again in different sizes once I startโ€ฆ

  • Bryers

Roller slips on pins

Roller sticks and is difficult to roll. The pins holding the reel to the handle assembly do not hold the reel in the locked position and ride over the pins holding the reel to the handle and eventually stick. I need to pull out the pins and re-center the pulley for the handle. The reel slides over the pins, moving to one side or the other, connecting the side of the reel to the side of the tongue, with the handle containing the pins. Use pliers to pull the pins out and re-center the gripโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Very expensive
