Description of Fan for Arctic P12 PWM PST 0dB Case, Black/White/ARGB

Arctic presents the PC Case Fan Arctic P12 PWM PST A-RGB 0dB Black item ACFAN00231A. The definition "semi-passive" means that the fan stops when the duty cycle of the PWM signal falls below 10%. This reduces the noise level to zero. The maximum rotation speed is 2000 rpm. It corresponds to an air flow of 82.91 m3/h. The fan uses a hydrodynamic bearing. The design features include the presence of a built-in Y-splitter for connecting the engine and lighting, which allows you to easily combine several fans. RGB lighting can be synchronized with other components of the system unit. 16.8M color addressable RGB lighting, syncable and customizable via ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion and ASRock Polichrome Sync. Fan impeller - The ends of its five crescent-shaped, aggressive, sharp leading edge blades are connected by a flat ring that rotates with them to achieve a more focused airflow and increase static pressure. The rotation speed of the Arctic P12 PWM PST A-RGB impeller is regulated by pulse-width modulation (PWM) in the range from 0 to 2000 rpm. With a wide speed range and innovative PWM Sharing Technology (PST), the P12 PWM PST A-RGB 0dB fan speed can be adjusted in sync with all other fans. This reduces noise levels to a minimum while guaranteeing maximum cooling performance. Silicone corners are built into the corners of the frame to ensure "soft" contact of the radiator frame with system unit cases and CPU cooler radiators. P12 PWM PST A-RGB 0dB works with a focused airflow and high static pressure. The fan thus guarantees extremely efficient cooling even with increased air resistance and is therefore suitable for use on radiators, radiators and filters. Static Pressure: 1.85mmHg Art. Noise Level: 0.3 Sleep Operating Ambient Temperature: 0 - 40 °C Connector: 4-Pin Male + 4-Pin Male Fan Bearing: Fluid Dynamic Bearing Electrical Specifications: Voltage: DC 12V Starting Voltage: 5 W 12 V Cable length: 400 mm

Great product, a pleasure to use.

Unexpectedly for myself, I found out that these hair dryers howl and vibrate at maximum speeds, but at medium speeds they are normal.

Pros
  • Not bright backlight
Cons
  • Howling and vibrations at top speed

A high-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

With its pros: Quiet. Almost any color can be customized. Convenient connectors with which you can connect several fans in series. With its cons: Does not give out rich purple and pink shades. (The photo turned out even more saturated than it actually is. )

Good product for me, no problems at all.

I wanted to replace the Noctua NF-S12A with something with a backlight and get better performance as a bonus. I was sure that 2022 rpm is better than 1200. In fact, the airflow of noctua at 1200 rpm is approximately comparable to that of arctic at 2022. It is difficult to judge the volume (both are very quiet), but it seems to me that noctua will be quieter, but it at maximum speed it starts to buzz, and from arctic at 2022 there is a vibration, which makes the body already buzz (rubber studs…

Pros
  • Quiet ARGB Price
Cons
  • Performance

Bought for several builds and customers have always been happy. In the end, I installed it in my Zalman Z3 Black, though in monotonous mode. Temperatures dropped significantly thanks to good static pressure, but be careful when calculating the air pressure inside the case. Since CFM fans provide little, all other active components must be configured for them.

Pros
  • 1. Volume. Significant uniform noise appears above 1500 RPM, but my PC is in a special recess in the desktop, which dampens the sound. 2. A-RGB backlight that is easy to control through a variety of compatible systems. 3. PST connection of one fan to another. 4. Excellent static pressure (blowing fan). 5.
Cons
  • 1. When more than 5-6 fans are connected via PST, their operation ceases to be stable, and the backlight flashes, but this is a technological limitation, moreover, it is rare in any assembly that all 5 fans are connected to one connector on the motherboard. 2. The fans caused the vibration of the case, which was transmitted to the wooden work table and turned into a sound like “whoo-whoo-whoo.” The problem arises only with a certain configuration of the case and is solved by anti-vibration stands. 3. The supplied bolts are not suitable for all cases, however, in the most recent models, there should be no problems.
