Junk/dollar

Thin wires and very little space for pickup coils. At first glance, however, it looks muscular due to the abundance of plastic; I get weak static filled signals. Very upset with the execution of substandard wiring.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

There is almost no reception

Pre-insulated wire is fine but too short for a half loop. Impossible to install and the wire is so thin (30 ga?) that it is very thin and difficult to remove. After finally connecting to the Sangean radio, reception only improved noticeably. Worth almost nothing. Will return.

Pros
  • speakerphone
Cons
  • the list will be long.

Works great in tough times

It was necessary but lost during the hurricane. I've never noticed that most if not all receivers don't have AM antennas. I recommend this one even if you never have to use it. The cable and cell towers were down, but the AM stations were still on. Has enough range.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Doubtful

Highly recommended in its class.

Classic AM loop antenna that I have used for many years. This current version is as good as any previous one and gives a good signal. Sometimes external circumstances prevent this, but the product is reliable and highly recommended. Does exactly what it promises. Great price, fast delivery.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Negative impression

Great antenna - antennas

Bought for an Aiwa radio I found at a flea market and works great. I placed it in my office and realized I needed an AM antenna to listen to baseball games while I was at work. I found and ordered this antenna from Revain. It arrived quickly and works great. I recommend this product for similar uses.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Fancasee AM loop antenna

They are as easy to use as they are: unpack, fold into shape, plug the two cables into the appropriate AM sockets on the back of the receiver and you have AM radio. . The truth is, AM radio isn't the entertainment it used to be. The one we often use mostly for news, weather, and social ads isn't too far off, but it's nice to have access to.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Upgrades available

My Lifesaver is AV Accessories

This works just as well as the OEM antennas sold with receivers these days, but the 54 inch cable was absolutely necessary to make my media cabinet setup work, which I recently installed Bought 2 amps, one Pioneer and one Onkyo, and both have similar AM antennas but WITH 30" cables. WHAT DO YOU THINK? If you don't mount the antenna directly above the amplifier, the standard cables are useless.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Some Issues
