I often stay in very good hotels on business trips and I always like the magnifying mirrors in the spa-style bathrooms in these luxurious places. I'm so glad I got it for travel! My eyes don't see that well anymore and when traveling it's almost impossible to do eye makeup in the hotel mirror - even if they have a mirror that isn't too far away, the lighting is still not bright enough. The light here is very bright, which is great, and sometimes I don't need the light at all because the magnification is enough - I can see every pore. First of all I don't use backlight. Note that it doesn't include batteries and I didn't put them in because I have great lighting where I use a mirror. When traveling I used this mirror by the window because daylight is the best light. The suction power is great if you place the mirror on the right surface.
