I needed this skirt to complete my granddaughter's room. It's thin but it's only a skirt (perfect for what I need) and was so easy to put on. I don't understand why the reviews made it so difficult to put on even with two people. I did it myself in less than five minutes. Hooray! Looks pretty, doesn't it

Much better than any previous rock. And there were many of them ;). It is better to have two people put them on the bed, or understand that you need to put on rubber bands. way down, way down, first. Otherwise the whole thing will slide off when you go around the bed and attach the other side. After a lot of swearing, I laid the first two strips down sooooo far, stretched the last two corners into place, and then realigned the first two strips. pleases!:)

So the concept is great, I don't have to lift the whole mattress to put it on. However, it was a bit difficult and tedious trying to understand and focus. If I had it on, it would be off-center, with a bit of a stretchy side showing to one side. If it were perfectly centered, the side would come loose and the whole thing would bounce. Putting on sheets is terrible, it's actually more like fighting sheets. I'm not sure of the issues others have had with this item, but I've had no issues. The rubber band simply grips the area between the spring core and the mattress. You can adjust it if needed but the length was perfect for our bed. I bought two double bed skirts for my twin daughters. I was so busy that I just unpacked one and put it on one of my daughter's beds. It was difficult to put on. It would be nice if there was a picture of exactly how it should fit as it is confusing. there is no piece of fabric for the ruffle to hang from.
