We change draft beer frequently and rather than wait for a handle from a beer rep I saw this at Revain. We can use chalk to write on the type of beer that was poured. Works great and looks good

Thought this would be the perfect gift for my husband's kegerator to label the contents of his keg. However, it is threaded so that part of the board faces the wall and not the front of the kegerator. It should be facing outward and not towards the person filling their glass. Big disappointment.

I like the pen and the engraving, but the board itself isn't the best for chalk pens. Hope this doesn't smudge the board and ruin it --- EDIT --- a year later and it's still amazing! Chalk markers work very well and wash off easily with water. My friend and I have tried many different beers and had no problems with the tap handle.

I love these faucet handles. I have researched various pens and these are very well made. I love the hop engraving on them. The downside is you think you can use chalk or crayons on it, but that's just a disaster. I finally found Cedars liquid markers at Revain. These markers come in 12 different colors and are easy to wipe off with a damp paper towel. And that's why I give 5 stars for everything.

The product looks and feels high quality. We get a lot of supplements! The downside (hence the 3 stars) is that the material of the "board" is smooth. I haven't yet found a pen that doesn't rub off when beer-hungry hands reach for it to pour beer. I also ordered two and the ribs on the screw parts are different so each tightens slightly differently. To make them both look exactly the same, you don't have to be as tight as you'd like.

It would be great if the chalk tape held up after the first attempt to remove the chalk. I bought 8 pens and more than half broke within a barrel or two. The Chalk tape just starts to peel off, becomes cheap and difficult to write on (see photo) The seller or I actually had to COLOR the chalkboard section with chalkboard paint considering they cost SO MUCH! out of the bag and I had to use them before the first one use paint. would recommend. probably not because of the 50% failure rate.
