This is a high quality nice looking fan. The fan is practically silent. Swings beautifully. The only thing I want to warn you about is that this fan is pretty small! It's slightly above the waist. Great for a compact place but much smaller than I expected. I paid 130.00 for it so I'm quite happy but if I paid 379.00 I would be disappointed.

This fan looks sturdy and looks good with the bronze fan and wooden legs, although the tripod base takes up a lot of floor space. The motor is quiet and produces a lot of air, but the fan is much shorter than it looks in the picture and the top doesn't tilt. I could handle the height but for the price I really can't believe it doesn't tilt.

POS! Doesn't work out of the box. Barely turns the blades and also makes a grinding noise. Also, the wooden legs are still wet from stains (stained my hands when I took them out of the box. There was a kerosene smell when I opened the box. Looks nice but made really cheaply for $400! Plastic lids etc. Will hold fingers away from this brand!

I used to give this fan 5 stars but after it was running in 2013, just 2 months after fitting I called and emailed Fanimation Co Give them your Revain order number, order date and photos according to the warranty information - that wasn't enough. Sad and I have 5 of them

Fan was listed as used for less than $150. It was brand new when it arrived, but in an opened box. All parts were original plastic. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's not a very powerful fan. If you're looking for a fan that moves a lot of air, this isn't it. But if you're looking for a nice fan to leave in your living room when you need to blow the air directly on you, then you'll love this fan. For me it was a great purchase.

I bought the open box version of this fan (through a company called Warehouse Deals). Box unopened, everything in original packaging, very well packaged. I installed it and used it for about 3 weeks. I REALLY wanted to like this fan. And not me. First, it's small. Be mindful of sizes and lower your expectations of size. Second, it's fairly cheaply made.
