my toddler stole my other remote and hid it in a secret place so my room had no light or fan for months. As soon as I took this suction cup out of the packaging, I immediately felt light. That was great.

This remote control is very easy to use. Fan speed and light intensity can be regulated using the illuminated up/down arrow keys. The fan or light can be switched on/off at the push of a button. I love how small and compact the remote is because it sits on my desk.

I accidentally lost my fan controller for a week and found it went through the washer and dryer. It worked for a while and then stopped working. I couldn't turn off the fan until I turned off the light. Just yesterday (April 17) the backlight button stopped working. The product came quickly and the product worked for me right away!

This is a replacement for my original fan controller but I think it was overpriced. it's a joke. Fanimation didn't impress me much and I hung their fans all over the house because of their guarantee. Read the fine print. If I pay, I'll send you the whole fan. I could buy a new one!

Maybe it's listed somewhere, but you're not just buying the remote, you're also buying the receiver (which I don't need), which technically means you can retrofit it with any fan, even if they are are out of stock - Firstly, I don't have a remote control (if you can find it there to place the receiver). I found the price too high but I needed it but when I received it I understood why the price was high; because it comes with remote control and receiver.

This was meant to replace the same model after our new pup chewed the old remote beyond recognition. I had to replace the ceiling mounted control box as I couldn't program it to work with the old one. Switching the hardware overhead was the hardest part, but everything worked fine after the swap. I used the wall mount that came with this remote as well as the original mount and mounted the controller on the wall to avoid tempting the dog and losing it somewhere! Works as promised and worth it!

Most modernized remotes use a cumbersome single button to control lamp power and dimming. This one gets it right with separate power, zoom-in, and zoom-out buttons. For those with 2 wire that you can't upgrade, this is the best option. The fan control works and is quite quiet. The only complaint I have is the rather long delay between turning it on and the lights/fan turning on. Unfortunately, after a thunderstorm, the lighting circuit no longer works.
