Fanimation FPS7955BMW Embrace Ceiling Light Review

The fan arrived and I installed it same day. The glass frame was broken in the box, a new one was sent quickly. I like being able to control the fan speed and light with the remote control, very convenient. However, I would improve the light by adding a dimming function and an LED bulb. Lets a lot of air through and looks great!

I may be sensitive to noise but the constant buzzing seems too loud to me. I love the look and the airflow, but I always toggle it on and off for the sound. I don't understand the silent reviews. I add to this review. I have a friend with the same fan and her fan made no noise at all. I called customer service and they were absolutely fantastic. My fan must have had some problems. They sent me a new fan, I will install it soon!

This fan is perfect for a modern, elegant look - it's so quiet you won't even notice it! Great for bedrooms and the light is way brighter than I expected. I would buy this brand again in the future. Don't buy an extra $50 wall switch - it won't work with this fan model, we had to return it (our fan was professionally installed). But rest assured that the wall remote control is both small and modern, fitting perfectly on its own next to the main switch.

I skipped a step during installation which was making my day difficult. When I realized my mistake, everything went smoothly. Read the instructions carefully and study the exploded view to see all the steps. This is a very good modern fan, very quiet and efficient for a small space. I used it in the bedroom. The remote control is a little clunky and doesn't seem built to last. I would use an extra wired wall switch if you can.

This fan is very easy to install (three times easier than the Hunter fan) and has very good hardware. As an architect I was concerned that this fan would not look elegant enough in my home, but the good reviews, quiet operation and price convinced me and I'm so glad it did! They sent a replacement, but did not have time to visit my guests. I sent the replacement back and was instructed to dispose of the non-working fan. The problem turned out to be the remote control was out of sync with the fan. The electrician installed many fans for me and they all worked previously - he eventually found what he thought was the problem - the antennas were hidden inside - so he brought them outside. the skylight came on by itself - I turned it off and an hour later it came on…
