I don't know anything about waxing a car so I don't know if they will work for this purpose, but I've tried using them for polishing with tung oil on a walnut grinder on a block board I'm done and they spill fluff everywhere. A complete waste of money time and I will be furious if they don't come out tomorrow after the tung oil has dried. Don't waste money!

Great concept, velcro sticks well to applicator pads, good job for polishing. The problem occurs when you try to change the applicator pad. The velcro stuck to the pillow so the adhesive came loose instead. After removing the Velcro, I saw many fibers embedded in the applicator pad. This means you can only use one side of the pad. Great concept but cheap product.

It would be great if the velcro could stay on the handle. After a wax treatment it came off. I was able to reattach it with silicone and after some additional waxing it seems to be holding. The pen really makes this easier than a simple applicator. You just have to be careful not to let the pen touch the paint and scratch it. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the velcro issue.

Better according to advertising because of the full surface without Velcro hole. That's true, but there's still a big hole under the plastic so the pressure isn't evenly distributed and sometimes the pad slips into the hole. Also, the glue holding the pad is not that good and the velcro pad slips, so be prepared to re-stick it. I honestly haven't found any cheap brands with decent velcro. If glued properly it should work fine.

I'm writing this for those who, like me, were unsure whether to buy the handle version or the larger handle version. I almost bought the handle version because I was used to it and didn't see how the longer handle could help. But out of curiosity, I decided to go for the version with a handle. I bought these because I thought the grip looked like it would make compound application and hand buffing easier. I ended up mostly using them with my occasional dual-action orbital polisher. The first time I cleaned, the velcro started peeling off the back. I have 2 that have loose velcro now.
