Lint application pads

I don't know anything about waxing a car so I don't know if they will work for this purpose, but I've tried using them for polishing with tung oil on a walnut grinder on a block board I'm done and they spill fluff everywhere. A complete waste of money time and I will be furious if they don't come out tomorrow after the tung oil has dried. Don't waste money!
