I was surprised at how thick the board is, especially compared to the overall size. It's a small board the size of a salad plate, nothing more. Quality made with no visible defects. It consists of bamboo boards glued together. Of course, it can only be washed by hand, the dishwasher will break it. One side has a juice groove, the other side is flat. This is a nice little board.

This little chopping board was just what I needed when I needed to cut or chop something small and didn't want a large board. It even works if you're just serving a piece of cheese for company. The description of the "paddleboard" is accurate as it is roughly the size of a table tennis bat. It appears to be of good quality and the juice groove and hanging hole are nice touches.

Bamboo is new and this board is rock solid and heavy. It makes a great little "sausage" board for a table for two, or just a handy little chopping board. There is a hole at the end of the handle so you can hang it on a hook. As with any wood product, you should cut against the "grain" with your knife to minimize deep nicks and scratches. Good price for a quality product from Farberware.

The boy was impressed with the quality of this cutting board. I should have known when I saw the brand name that it would be top notch. I was very happy to see how thick and how hard it is. Washes well and just feels good in your hands. There is a groove for collecting juice throughout the board on one side, but not on the other side. This cutting board is very high quality. I am amazed how cheap the price is for this high quality board.

Good durable bamboo chopping board with light grain. We are planning to use our engraver to engrave our last name and date for a gift to our son and his wife. It's on smaller cutting boards, 7.5" x 10". It can also be used as a cheese board or small serving tray. It also works well as a bread server. As a quick-used wooden cutting board, this board comes in handy. Yes, it's the size of a ping-pong bat, but it's better than lugging around a giant wooden board to slice up an orange. I wish mine didn't have those little blemishes that they show in their pictures of this product but it's real wood so I guess that's to be expected. He's pretty small.
