Worked for a while.

Purchased for my wakeboard boat. Easy installation but stopped working after a season. It was replaced for free under warranty, but a few months without it was annoying.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Seniors

Eliminates the fear of falling on the ground.

Works as well if not better than I expected. Follow the exact installation instructions and you will be fine. We have used actual measurements to verify the readings and they have been found to be accurate.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Includes negative

Great product - works like a clock

Great product - works like a clock, the only complaint or issue we had was the length of wiring that comes with the fish finder/depth sensor - we were able to install it in our interior, the rudder did not have enough wire to go to the flybridge without splicing. The product itself works as advertised and gives quick readings at our typical 8-10 knots.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

Works, but doesn't allow negative offset.

Just installed the unit in my 53ft Hatteras. The Airmar in-hull transducer works as advertised and works great through the heavy one-piece Hatteras glass. Ease of installation. The reason I can't give it 5 stars is that you can't use a negative keel offset to read the actual water depth, rather than under the transducer or under the keel depth. This is a stupid oversight on Faria's part.

Pros
  • Something above
Cons
  • Quality
