Looks good, works terrible

Tried one of the sockets yesterday. The first problem was the lack of a color code on the screws. I can understand, so it's okay. The second issue is that I couldn't rotate the connector after the wires were attached. Either the screws are too short or the plastic parts are crap. I sealed the connector with tape. Finally, when I fully connected the transformer to the security system, the pins in the plug were very loose. The end caps are made to terrible tolerances and are poorly designed. I…

The price is their only advantage.

Inexpensive and fast. As expected, they are very cheaply made. But the price is also cheap. The screws are not color coded like US electrical appliances which have silver, brass, and green screws for neutral, hot wire, and ground. If you know which terminal is which, you shouldn't have any problems. If not, you should buy higher quality devices. They are not UL approved. what i could find. I've used them to fix old extension cords that had damaged plugs or were missing the ground pin. Haven't…

dangerously insufficient!

Pin connectors do not hold stranded wire (16ga) well. The two halves are not keyed in any way, making it difficult to align unevenly spaced holes. No gold connector to indicate hot wire. A rubber that is too soft for the included fine-thread screws makes it very likely that they will tear off due to misalignment or over-tightening. The socket has the same issues PLUS it's a keyless 3-piece assembly, sort of a Chinese alignment puzzle (that's ironic for you), and there's no gold connector…
