I can't tell if this thermometer is accurate. When my son was sick, I got a different temp every time in just a 60 second time frame. I had the same experience with both the ear and forehead settings.

You can use this to scan the forehead or to take a temperature in the ear for more accuracy. I took my temperature 3 times in a row. First reading, 99, second 101, third 98.3. Hmmmm. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but if it’s that difficult to get an accurate reading, what’s the point?

When we first got this, it seemed to be pretty accurate. I could tell my daughter had a fever and it was registering between 100-102. However within just a couple days the accuracy completely stopped working and now it is clearly giving incorrect readings . Temperatures are usually in the 95-96 range which is ridiculously low for our family on average. I like that you have the option to scan the forehead or put in the ear canal. My old one only took your temperature in the ear canal, and the kids didn't like my having to take their temperatures in their ears each time. It's very accurate for a temporal scan too, so pleased that I bought an extra one to make the kids happy and my having to check their temperatures more easy for me. It also came with batteries, so that was an added bonus.

Not entirely sure if it shows right temperature all the time. I double check with a regular digital thermometer and find atleast 1 degree difference.

Very inaccurate. Said my sons 105 fever was 97.6. Tried several times and still was not anywhere near accurate. You could feel his and tell there was a fever. This is garbage.

The forehead thermometer is VERY EASY to use and gives you different colors to indicate if the temperature is normal, borderline, or abnormal! I wish it had an ear piece with it so that it can be used as a ear thermometer too. But otherwise very impressed by the product and even purchased one for my friend as a baby shower gift!

The forehead temperature I believe just doesn’t work well but the ear piece works best to get a more accurate temp. That's my feedback.

I have tried using the under the arm thermometer and pacifier thermometers for my infant when she was sick. The under arm one was a fight because she was sick and didn’t want her arm held to her. The pacifier took forever and she always wanted to spit it out. I wish I had had this when she was little because it is so easy, quick, and non invasive to get a temperature. Now that she is almost 2 she loves to just have her temperature take with this.

VERY important to know when toddler is running a fever! Not only did this work fast, with just a touch to the forehead, there's even a little color indicator to let you know "Normal, not quite normal, or this is a fever" - It saves readings so you can tell if your fever/elevated temperature is getting better or worse - a very helpful feature in the stress of taking care of a sick child. It was very easy to learn how to use and takes a forehead temperature in about 2 seconds of a forehead swipe. One thing that may be worth noting. This thermometer is great, it is a two In one and can check your temperature either using it on your forehead or in your ear. The readings are accurate. Al you do is press one button and it take a few seconds to get the reading. There are 3 colors that help you determine how your temperature is.

I really like that it came with batteries and a carrying bag. It detects your temperature quickly, and turns off on its own after a few seconds. I keep it at the front door for use when entering the house, beside it I have sanitizer and disinfecting wipes. I love this product! And I am happy to have it be a part of my spread prevention kit.

I am satisfied with this forehead thermometer. It is a nice shape, size, and easy to use. My only complaint is that it did not come with any of the ear components that are clearly listed as part of the product. I was tempted to return it, but the truth is that we will only use it on foreheads, anyway (in a commercial setting). So we decided to keep what we received.

Overall good thermometer. The ear reading is more accurate than the forehead scan. Forehead scan is usually 1-2 degrees lower than the ear reading. It would have been nice to receive a sample of ear probe covers. The device stores previous readings which is helpful.

If you want a quick ballpark reading, this is okay. Inconsistent back to back readings. Only constant that seemed reasonable was the green or red light indicator.
