Description of πŸ”© Efficient Cabinet Installation with FASTCAP PHZ8 PowerHead - 3 Inch 50PC

Flat head designed for use with Fastcap's peel and stick cover caps. Large surface area prevents screw head from pulling through the panel. Cutting nibs seat the screw flush with the surface. Has a type 17 auger point tip for easy starting, square drive recess. Small 50 piece pack of 3" installation screws is a great way to try this product out.

Reliable Fixing Screw Holder

While some may argue that other types of screws can be used for cabinet installation, why not take what the manufacturer offers? They worked great and were easy to install. (Tip: To make things easier and not split the wood, drill a smaller hole than the wood screw where you will be putting the screw.) The use of 3-inch wood screws is also specifically mentioned by some cabinet manufacturers. don't settle for less.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Available in White Only

The screws are good; Bit included *HOT* Scrap

The screws are fine, I had no trouble tightening them. Use them on the Fastcap Speedbrace and cover them with PVC dots for a neater look. Buy a #2 Dewalt square bit with ready-to-use flex torque or something that works with impact wrenches / has flex because the square bit that came with it broke into a *second* screw. I had to use a very strong magnet to pull out the broken part of the screw. I finished the rest (12 screws) with a Dewalt bit and everything was fine.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Reliable and easy assembly

I bought these screws to mount a shelf that hangs on the wall with wall studs. I installed these screws using a percussion gun. The screw head didn't sink as a previous reviewer mentioned. But the screw head was almost flush. I then installed PVC screw head caps (from this company) which I painted to match the color of the rack. They are not visible from afar. The rack must weigh at least 100 pounds and be screwed to the wall with 6 of these screws. You seem very strong. Use 3 inch screws. I…
