📏 FastCap PSSP16 Standard Story Measurement Tool Review

Fastcap tape measure is my favorite item. I have half a dozen or more. I like that 1/16 are numbered - I don't have to translate in my head when making furniture. The ones I have don't usually have large numbers to plot - they're a little hard to read in low light. I think they're also made to be thrown away - they're not as durable as heavy-duty duct tape. But on the other hand, I change the tapes quite often because they stay more accurate that way.

This tape measure came in handy for me because of its plotting rod. That's why I bought it. However, it has not stood the test of time. The writing area on the side didn't allow me to write on it with a pencil. Too bad it isn't, because it's been a very handy feature for me every day. The tape itself, like many other tapes, began to tear right at the initial ledge. The straw that finally killed him was a broken feather. Sad. This went on for about 9 months. This is a great tape measure. The tape is very readable for those of us with older eyes. The accuracy of the scale is extremely useful and saves time. This is the perfect tape measure for fine carpentry, moulding, trimmings, furniture etc. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is that it's a bit flimsy. The case is very strong, but the band itself is very light and the return spring (or recoil spring) inside doesn't retract very well after just one long day. This should be the second or third
