Good product! on Bottles & Bottling

All bottles arrived intact and well packaged to avoid damage. I had no problems with the bottles and they turned out to be good quality bottles. Will definitely buy them again when I need more home brew bottles.

Pros
  • Beautiful item
Cons
  • Dear

Nice bottles, well crimped and seem solid.

Perfect for what I need. The beer came out excellent, the corks hold, they are pressed normally, without miscarriages on the corks. The bottles feel thin and light compared to bud or coors bottles. That's why I move more cautiously, but. Say great. Buy more in the future.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

good bottles in Kitchen & Dining

To my great surprise, three cases of these bottles arrived in perfect condition. no break at all. Unlike other reviewers, I didn't find the glass to be flimsy or fragile. I brewed my own beer, poured 48 bottles, the manual capping machine did its job perfectly, the glass didn't break. I will definitely buy them again if I need more bottles.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Infinitely Sluggish

Not bad, but looks a bit thin.

Ordered 2 cases and they just arrived. No stains or damage to packaging but 1 bottle is broken. I don't know how that happened, but since the box was in such good condition, it could have been delivered like this. The glass is a lot thinner than I thought it should be for a pressure bottle. I have to wait after filling to see if it bursts.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Can't remember

Revane's tape doesn't stick well.

A broken bottle. I don't blame the North Mountain box, I blame the box that Revane put the box in. When it arrived the box was open but the tape was still on. This isn't the first box I've received where the Revain brand tape has also come loose. So a star is lost because the Revain tape managed to damage a bottle.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Some imperfections

The quality is ok as expected. Only received 23

bottles as expected. Good for brewing yourself. Only 23 received with an incomprehensible damage note (there was no damaged bottle in it). I didn't care because I've collected other bottles, but I find paying 24 and getting 23 lame. The "damage" is not my fault. I had a tear while sealing but all the others were fine.

Quality bottles came whole

I bought 2 cases of bottles and they came boxed together and fully intact. There was some wrapping paper in each box to keep the bottles from rattling to a minimum and the outer box was covered with bubble wrap to soften the packaging. I was a little apprehensive when I received the fragile empty glass bottles but they were well packaged and totally undamaged! There could have been more packing material in the crates of bottles, but everything seemed fine. The bottles appear to be of the same…

Good price and great quality!

I have bought bottles in the past and have always had 3 or 4 bottles of poor quality but out of 2 boxes I have bought I have only had 1 spoiled bottle and everything on it was wrong, there was a small air bubble in the glass on the side. I didn't want to risk the fermentation cracking or breaking and messing up my brew chamber. I managed to break 2 of them but I suspect I didn't have the crimping level of the caps and this caused the neck to crack slightly. The box it comes in is well packaged…

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Although the bottles were in good working order

Although the bottles were in good working order I recommend being careful when capping. I used them for the first time with no problems. However, when I pressed the cap on the second round, the top of one of the bottles came off cleanly. It looked like it had been cut off with a glass cutter. Tiny shards of glass, of course, which spoiled the beer too. I wasn't really happy. I'm new to homebrewing and the first time around I had a little trouble getting the caps on the bottles properly. So…
