First of all I am not a handyman and have no experience with bathroom remodeling. Great product. Just make sure you set it up with "UP" or you'll get water out of the spout and showerhead no matter what you do! I had to cut and flip the drywall and then patch the drywall because I couldn't check "UP" even though I knew it had to be set correctly for the diverter to work properly. Make sure the valve body is set to the correct depth before grouting the wall. In addition, there is no flow control in this device, it is either fully on or off. This item worked perfectly. Just gotta say, if you're installing it yourself, use the goop threat, not the duct tape thread. Thread paste is much better for sealing the 4-way threaded contact with hot line, cold line, showerhead line and tub spout line. The thread tape that I had to peel and paste had a few small drips down the side of the thread for some reason, but after thread pasting I had no problems.
