3 complaints about this unit - The plastic clip that should serve as the depth gauge is not properly described in the instructions. Make sure the valve body is set to the correct depth before grouting the wall. In addition, there is no flow control in this device, it is either fully on or off. That's fine for a temporary bathroom or quick fix, but I wouldn't use it for a new build. Finally, the 2 bolts that attach the trim to the valve body only "twist" the trim slightly. The overlay is stamped from lightweight (very thin) metal and is not thick enough to allow this decorative panel to fit snugly against the wall on all sides. The cover will be deformed because the screws are only screwed into (2) places where the screws connect to the shower body, in other places the cover won't fit so tightly to the wall. (Possibility of water ingress behind panel. Possibly with potential "long term" problems of mold/water accumulation behind wall?).
