The cable itself is a bit stiff and difficult to manage. Maybe the quality is not very good. It does deliver great video though and I don't need an HDMI adapter going from HDMI to mini to micro - that's it. It gets four stars because, while a bit wiry, it gets the job done. It would be much better if the material was more malleable.

Initially the cable worked well to connect my Canon EOS to my TV. After 2-3 uses it stopped working, just a black screen. The article has been superseded by Revain. A new cable came, worked fine 2-3 times then stopped working at all just a black screen. The micro connector feels flimsy and wobbles in the camera port. No issues with other cables I have that are more heavily built.

This cable worked about 4 times before failing completely. I thought there was something wrong with my camera but later realized it was a brand new cable that I bought. The plastic shielding on the cable feels cheap and the cable is stiff with little flexibility. I bought another fabric shield cable and immediately saw the picture when I plugged it in. Unfortunately I cannot return this item as I bought it two months ago and have only just started using it. Cheap.

I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000. This cable fits snugly into my camera (no slack so there is very little stress on the connector) and allows me to use the camera as a high quality webcam for Zoom, Facetime, etc. Also, my "virtual backgrounds" are better with a higher resolution camera (I don't cut off my ears ;-). I personally like the slight stiffness of the cable as it speaks to the high quality and also partially supports the weight of the cable to reduce the stress on the camera…

I am using this cable to connect my Sony Alpha 7 III to my computer for video conferencing via Cam Link 4K instead of having bad webcam video quality. Big difference! The cable works great, the length and thickness are very good and allow better positioning of the camera depending on the application. I would like this cable to run at right angles to the end of the Micro HDMI connector, this would help cut the cable more easily. I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend…
