I really like them but when I got them they smelled like some kind of chemistry. It could be a flame retardant or something, a little hesitant to use them with a strong chemical smell. I recommend washing them first to prevent harmful chemicals from getting onto the dishes/pans before use.

Not only are they the cutest, they make great potholders too, and at a fantastic price, period! The black base also conceals splashes and streaks very well, but can also be washed well with a gentle cycle! I would recommend them as oven mitts even if you are not a cat or dog lover!

Cute and heat resistant but on the verge of danger because you are supposed to use them like a regular oven mitt but the fingers are fused together in four places which prevents the thumb from doing this will move independently. It's impossible to grab the baking sheet unless you use the cotton method, which involves placing a paw on each hand. Unfortunately unusable.

They are adorable! My only complaint is that they are flat with no room for your thumb. I'm getting used to it, but I still pull out my big ol' ugly gloves when I'm dealing with something heavy and need to get a really good grip. But they go with most things, they match one of my aprons, and they look so cute in my kitchen between uses, so I'm super happy!

Super cute! They allow me to get things out of the oven quickly, but they're not as heat resistant as I thought they would be. They can get warm very easily. Once they really caught fire when touched by a heating element. Potholders usually melt, but these caught fire. Another disadvantage is that the pink parts of the paws are very swollen, which can make it difficult to bend the arm to grip oven items securely.
