Easy upgrade to desktop WiFi for AX speeds

Attractive and robust design and fairly easy to install. The only problem I had was that I couldn't turn off the plug for the bluetooth function. I had to do this as I wanted to use the power cord already in the PC that powers my old AC PCIE wireless card. All the other USB power ports on my motherboard were busy, so I really had to plug in a new card. I tried using the internal USB with multiple USB ports, but for some reason the card failed to power up. I eventually found out that theโ€ฆ

Almost perfect for computers and accessories

Purchased to alleviate the need for a separate USB dongle for Bluetooth. It works fine, sometimes my Xbox controller cuts out, but I think it's due to a glitch with my PC, while before the signal was continuous. WiFi works great, Bluetooth works about as well as you would expect.

Problems with network card drivers

Installation of the product was easy. Although I haven't managed to get this product to work with the drivers provided or using the latest and greatest from around the web. Follow all of the manufacturer's recommended troubleshooting tips, except for contacting Microsoft. The next step, which I haven't tried yet, is to reinstall Windows. If I decide to go that far and it works I'll update the review.

Pros
  • Free for training purposes
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Works great on Linux Mint

We recently switched to a high speed provider and I was dismayed that my existing adapter only got the maximum download speeds of around 12Mbps despite 200-400Mbps could reach. I then bought another adapter from Revain, but it could only achieve about 40-50 Mbit/s. I did a lot of Googling to see if there were any issues setting up Linux Mint, thinking it was probably OS related. I came across this product while searching for the best adapters. Feeling like I really had nothing to lose, Iโ€ฆ

Extremely poor Bluetooth performance

I hope I'm out of luck, but Bluetooth is very slow, drops out a lot and has a very limited range. Smaller USB adapters work better, but I needed them because they support Linux. If I can't solve this problem I will ask for a refund and suggest you stay away from this product. Range can also be measured in inches with upgraded antennas. What I have is NOT Bluetooth 5.0. AVOID THIS SELLER

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • A few minor issues

Worth every penny. Well suited for network cards

Definitely worth the money. My phone gets about 200 on Wi-Fi in my basement, this thing gets 112 in the far corner. My latest USB wireless adapter has 14 in the same place. It's undoubtedly worth the extra $10, plus Bluetooth. Installation is not difficult, two screws and a cable. Finding a cable connector can be difficult if you're unfamiliar with your motherboard, but it shouldn't be a problem.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Works on my 12 year old Dell Precision T3600 Desktop

Having already had a problem with the wireless USB adapter on my Linux desktop, I was skeptical about using other USB adapters. Using a PCI adapter was a great idea and works great without drivers, which is probably the best option for Linux. As a bonus, my desktop also has a built-in Bluetooth adapter! You may just need to figure out where to plug in the connection for the Bluetooth module, but given the specificity of the 9-pin connector, that shouldn't be much of a problem.
