Misleading Product - Not Recommended

This product may claim to be self-powered, but it was a complete disappointment when it didn't work in my computer without additional power... The instructions were unclear and there was no customer support available..

Will not work with more than 3 USB 3.0 devices - don't waste your time or money

So I bought two of these devices to install in two different systems. Last month I spent hours of my life troubleshooting why some USB hard drives were not showing up or working. I even called Seagate about one that didn't show up on either of those cards, but to my surprise it worked fine on my office computer. Today I finally gave up trying to make a fourth hard drive appear on every computer. The controller hung on one disk and the computer did not read any of the disks. On another computer…
