It's like something magical - I screwed this thing in and, BLING!, the light just lit up! Since then my attitude towards life has changed. Now I feel so good I might even order a second lightbulb!

Need a low light solution when LEDs are just too bright. Provides a warm glow alongside or above the night light but not too bright. in a normally dark room but not looking for a bright LED. To me, they're a little brighter than a night light, but not so bright that they cause glare or pain when turned on in total darkness.

worked exactly as it should for my intended purpose. There was an old light microscope that used this socket. This light worked as intended. The light is a bit dim but as expected for its performance. It's also a bit yellow, but I anticipated that too. I'm happy with this purchase and so far it's working well and haven't had any issues. I didn't want to spend money on an LED for the lighting I have planned for this lamp.
