Read the product description, the product photo shows a 12 volt bulb, the actual bulb is 120 volts, I needed 12 volts of course

Actually ordered the wrong bulb (requires 12v not 120v) - this one worked great but understandably wasn't bright enough.

The lamp still works, there are no complaints about the work of the lamp. I wanted to throw out some information so you don't make the same mistake I did. I ordered the wrong bi-pin size. My reading lamp has a GY8 base and I originally ordered a GY6.35 base, of course my lamp says "50W JDC lamp or less".
