I shredded 8 sheets of paper together and it worked fine (even 10, ok!), I shredded the credit cards in half where stated and that worked fine too. My product does not fit 8 sheets of 20lb Georgia Pacific paper. In fact, he slows down significantly at four. I would not recommend trying the 8.
