HELP FOR TIRED EYES

The Fellowes privacy filter is perfect for my home computer. I bought one after purchasing a similar product for my office computer. Long days in front of the screen irritated the eyes. I found the filter a great relief. I don't usually travel with my laptop but for those who travel the privacy aspect is important and works well to keep roving eyes off the screen. It's easy to use. Small protrusions cling unobtrusively to the edges of the screen, and the filter slides or pops out as you wish…

Not as described but better than an open screen.

The filter will darken the screen when you're not in direct view (as he says) but it won't darken it in any way as shown in the photo. For example, someone sitting next to you can see what application you have open and title fonts, but they probably can't read what you're typing. Wouldn't be so bad if they were disposable sheets that come in packs of 10 or so, but that's a $35 item! There are more expensive screens out there, but they probably don't work any better. That's all.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Operating Speed

Keeps my super secret stuff super secret

I have to say I find these privacy filters ridiculously expensive; however I am very happy with it. I previously bought one (over a year ago) for around $20, so I was surprised they are that expensive now. However, I am completely satisfied with it. My previous one was pretty versatile so it never fit my screen and was pretty shabby. This fits my screen perfectly (I followed the measuring tips to make sure I got the right one), it stays in place so I'm sure it will last longer, and offers great

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Don't stick with computers and accessories

This thing could offer some privacy, but who knows? Inlay adhesive dissolves in less than 5 minutes. Then it is placed on the laptop keyboard. I think I could use masking tape or something, but I'd rather create a professional looking image with my work gear.

Pros
  • Always happy
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Filters work well for laptops Accessories

Good privacy screen and flawless. Nothing to complain about at all. Installation is easy, and within five minutes you can slide the screen in and out of your computer screen (if you want). I keep mine in the laptop neatly and comfortably as it fits perfectly. When you look away, your information is obscured on the screen, but when you sit in front of the computer, you see clearly; On the plus side, the filter reduces annoying screen reflections. Many Thanks. I can't help but express my concerns

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Filters work well with screen filters

Good privacy screen and working properly. Nothing to complain about at all. Installation is easy and within five minutes you can slide the screen in and out of your computer screen (if you wish). • Privacy filter fits 15.4" widescreen laptops and monitors (visible area only) with a 16:10 aspect ratio; actual filter dimensions 13-1/16" W x 8-3/16"
Cons

Excellent privacy filter

Helps with glare and gives me some privacy. I sit in a corner of the office, but if someone walked through the door to my office, they could see everything on my screen. As I work with sensitive data, I was always concerned that my data would be shared with someone I didn't want to disclose. This filter is great! No one can see I have a filter because you don't have to mount anything, just remove the film that comes to protect the filter and stick it in the screen. If someone doesn't get behind

Pros
  • Darkens the screen when viewed from the side, preventing prying eyes from reading the screen's contents while maintaining a crystal clear screen image when viewed directly
Cons
  • No power

Almost identical to 3M privacy filter

I have the Fellows filter on a laptop and the 3M filter on my work laptop. The plastic sheet itself is nearly identical in terms of clear viewing angles, the way it dims from far to close as you exit the center, a small domed slit at the edge for lifting the sheet, and the screen dimensions. printed near the edge. I find the Fellows product numbers to be more transparent, which is nice. I would like a narrower viewing angle, but I have not found a better filter at any price. The main difference

Pros
  • TAA compliant
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
