The Fellowes privacy filter is perfect for my home computer. I bought one after purchasing a similar product for my office computer. Long days in front of the screen irritated the eyes. I found the filter a great relief. I don't usually travel with my laptop but for those who travel the privacy aspect is important and works well to keep roving eyes off the screen. It's easy to use. The filter will darken the screen when you're not in direct view (as he says) but it won't darken it in any way as shown in the photo. For example, someone sitting next to you can see what application you have open and title fonts, but they probably can't read what you're typing. Wouldn't be so bad if they were disposable sheets that come in packs of 10 or so, but that's a $35 item! There are more expensive screens out there, but they probably don't work any better. I have to say I find these privacy filters ridiculously expensive; however I am very happy with it.
