Worth buying the brand names, I've tried the cheaper ones.

Worth buying a famous brand, I tried a cheaper fake and they didn't melt in my laminator. Went back to Fellowes as I've never had a problem with this very strong glossy finish protecting my materials for my classes.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Expensive

Suitable for HOT laminate but has issues with COLD laminate

Upon opening these sheets, I immediately noticed directional arrows. I assumed this was just an extra sheet that needed to be removed, but then I found that this information disappears during the lamination process. Cool. My laminator does both hot and "cold" lamination. Cold lamination is still hot, but not as hot as normal hot lamination. The hot lamination went well except that some thin papers had some curls in the final product. This, too, was only possible with thin paper. The thicknessโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Poor maintainability

Quality Product

Purchased with a Fellowes Laminator to make signs for the job. The sheets are easy to handle and so far laminated crystal clear. Haven't had a chance to test the quality of the UV resistance yet, but next year we'll be using them outdoors for most of the year.

Pros
  • Laminating Supplies
Cons
  • Discontinued

just plastic wrap. No bags

These are plastic sheets, not Fellowes bags which I have used a lot in the past. I tried paper between two sheets and it didn't seal like it should at the 5 mil setting. rubbish, waste of money. I can't even find a seller to complain about.

Pros
  • Stationery
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

I wasted $40 that could have been spent at Christmas.

My arrows won't go away :/ and you might think it's because my laminator isn't hot enough, but it is. Package comes out wrinkled and doesn't lay flat. I have to run it twice. So if it's hot enough for my project to come out wrinkled, it must be hot enough for those arrows to go away. I wasted $40 that could have been spent on Christmas gifts or something. TEAR

  • office electronics

  • There are other interesting options.
