You must use a USB-C 3.1 or above cable (like Type C-C 3.1,3.2,4 or TB3 cable). HDMI end won't connect to computer or laptop end. HDMI part needs to be plugged into the display end.PAY ATTENTION TO THE LIMITATION: It is NOT bi-directional.This product DOES NOT support video output from HDMI port to an external display.
