Flimsy and Ineffective Fitting

The Female Backflow Preventer Repair Reinforced we purchased was a complete letdown. Based on our own experience, it was flimsy and failed to prevent backflow as promised. The instruction manual was poorly written and difficult to understand. The only good thing that we noticed was the affordable price. However, we would not recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable and robust backflow preventer fitting.

Pros
  • Reinforced design ensures durability and longevity.
Cons
  • Potential difficulty in finding the correct size for specific backflow preventer models.

Bad Design: Valves

I spent 3 days designing and 3D printing a check valve. I saw this one that fits my truck's compression tester perfectly, put it together and it broke.

Pros
  • Fittings
Cons
  • No Instructions

Very well made for Check Valves

Great little solid brass check valve. I don't know exactly what the set pressure is, but I'm thinking 10 because it's pretty tight. A little too tight for use with RV pumps, but perfect for outdoor printing at home.

Pros
  • Check Valves
Cons
  • Very Expensive
