I like the aesthetic of these lights but I would say they are for small spaces. We originally bought these lamps for our basement but they cast weird shadows on the walls so we turned them into these little hallways.

I ordered one to make sure my wife and I like it when it looks installed. It was a very simple process to remove my old builder's light and replace it with this one. I used 2 LED bulbs with clear glass filament. Looks phenomenal. I ordered and installed 5 more to replace all my builder class lights. They are inexpensive and of good quality and offer a lot of light.

My husband doesn't usually have a problem installing anything, but this light was better than anything he's ever tried. The screws were too long and had to be adjusted to push them through the thick insulation that kept shifting. A real nightmare, too bad because I really liked the light! My advice . Keep looking for another flashlight AND be sure to read the reviews (which I didn't do with this one as I was so blown away by the way the flashlight looked!).

Very nice lamp. The glass is really thick. However, the interior space where the cables are located is not very well designed. There is no gap between the ceiling and the wires, so the wires are bent and pressed against the ceiling. This set off sparks and burned out the lightbulbs, leaving burn marks on the ceiling. This is a fire hazard. I would not recommend them for this reason. Unfortunately I bought 2 of these and threw away the packaging they came in. So I lost $110. :(

This is a nice mount. It pairs perfectly with the ceiling fan in the living room and perfectly complements the dining area in our small townhouse. I first tried a few Edison bulbs but they were too yellow and dim for me. So I replaced them with a regular 40W LED. The instructions left a lot to be desired. Bought two of these to replace hall and kitchen lights. As an electrician, it was not easy for me to install them. I had to use a lifeline and call a friend. There were also difficulties on his part. These lights look good but I'm not sure about the durability, brightness etc so I've decided to return them. The assembly process is too complicated, the mounting bolts are movable with lock nuts. and acorn nuts have a maximum thread of 3/16 inch. That's a good light but wow it was difficult to install. I had previously replaced three other lamps so I knew what I was doing, but this one was next to impossible.
