Definitely comfortable and great for "fat" and beautiful children's feet. They feel very comfortable, not stiff or flexible like some baby shoe soles! If your child has wide feet like all my children, these shoes are great! I bought 2 pairs last year, one size bigger than the other because I wasn't sure if they would fit. My daughter was able to put on the first pair straight away and grow into the second pair in the fall. It usually only fits New Balance and Asics, like the rest of the family.
