I like the glass bottle but the caps are TERRIBLE. The bamboo cap is completely separate from the inner plastic cap. Because of this, every time I drank from it, bits of wood and glue got into my bottle. I stopped because of possible health issues. This shit can't be good for you. This product was only used for water. When I received it, the inside smelled like pure chemicals. It came off after a few washes but I would say that's my only major gripe. The rest of the glass was of good quality. Also, the foam was crumpled in the form it came in and still hasn't warmed up. There are other bottles on the market that can offer better quality at a lower price. It's quite big, so maybe the size affects the price? This water bottle is the best I have ever used. I've used glass water bottles for the past few years and have never seemed able to find one large enough that I only need to refill once a day. This bottle is large, easy to clean, comes with a case to protect the glass and has a nice shape that makes it easy to pack in a school backpack. Outside of the packaging, the water bottle had a faint smell of plastic. However, I washed it in the dishwasher (great feature) and it removed all the residual odors. After that, I find that the water from this bottle actually tastes better than some of my plastic or metal water bottles. After watching a documentary about plastics, I was immediately drawn to the idea of glass water bottles. I kept finding little ones, but after a bit of searching I came across this one and fell in love. Especially with the bamboo lid, which is more sustainable than regular wood, I knew I had to get one.
