Disappointing. I bought these to connect activated carbon filters to indoor garden duct fans. The path is oversized. 6 was 6.5, couldn't compress enough to get a seal. The 4-inch worked, but barely.

everything on amazon in this size for sewer/waste pipe. thus the inner diameter is almost 6.5 inches. They don't stick to the sizes suggested there, they expect everyone to know sewer pipes are strangely measured. PVC piping.

I bought this product to make a solar filter for my telescope. I wanted something I could securely attach to the end without damaging my scope. The hose clamp definitely keeps it in place. It's not the prettiest craft, but it definitely worked out exactly how I hoped it would!
