Ferrite Magnetic Squares Adhesive Rectangle Review

I bought these to keep a door open in my house that would otherwise close due to a slight bump in the house. I expected to be able to attach each adhesive side to something and use the non-adhesive side to hold the door. The magnet strength and adhesive are fine, but they're not polarized to converge on the non-clutch side, so they never hold the door. Unfortunately, as much as I want to rate them as excellent, this is the third time out of four that I have received the exact same set of magnets and half of them in the set were not good. no 3M adhesive pad. I immediately used the self-adhesive ones on my current project and will be using the adhesive for my other less important smaller projects. The adhesive method is not as reliable as 3M pads. I had to look at the reviews, not just what came first on my phone. "24 pcs high quality flat magnetic squares with adhesive backing" was what was advertised, instead half of the items had an adhesive strip on one side and did not match one piece that could have been aligned with the other piece opposite.
