If you want that sort of thing, buy a shelf liner at the Dollar Store. It's much better and works better. A similar shelf liner is thicker, tackier, and you can cut it to your specific needs.

I bought this for a GPS holder, I don't like using glue on a car's dashboard as long use can break it down and damage the dashboard . This is a simple anti-slip solution and works well for my GPS and phone mount that doesn't require clips or anything. easy to use, soft and does not melt at the moment.
