No ribbon is perfect. At least this one is easy to smear with mud. As it needs to be applied after sanding, be sure to clean the seams with a damp cloth to remove dust particles. When the drywall is dust free, it will hold like a charm.

He's stopped using everything else and he's a fantastic mason who really knows his stuff. Update I am buying 3 more rolls of this volume at the request of my mason. He likes ultra-thin and self-adhesive parts. As a customer, I have to say his wall renovations are second to none.

I did not like using this product. The installation video on their website shows use on a clean drywall joint with no use of dirt before applying the tape. There is so little glue on the tape that if a thin layer of dirt is applied it will become uneven. Forget using it to seal small holes.

If you use it right, it's great. It sticks. No need to put dirt underneath unless there is a huge deficit. This means that this tape must be run on a dry surface. If you have a wide crack to fill, I would fill the crack first. Then let it dry and then stick tape on it. If the crack isn't very wide, just apply FibaTape and this counts as the first layer.
