Genuine Review from an angry buyer

It has been two months since this cable was launched by a professional installer. Now the signal disappears and cracks like crazy. My TV flickers between the black screen and the picture. I'm furious that I have to AGAIN pay a professional home theater installer for a new, hopefully better quality, cable. Don't buy this cable, it's terrible!

Pros
  • Value for money
Cons
  • Quality

This 30ft cable works perfectly and meets the advertised specifications (which is not always the case with HDMI cables, ESPECIALLY when they are over 20ft long). Flexible and easy to pull through the wall/ceiling to connect the projector! I can't comment on the durability/longevity (since I just installed it) but I'll update my review if something goes wrong with it.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not sure

Cable only works one way

Cable works great BUT make sure you look closely at the connections and connect the source end to the source and the display end to the TV/projector. This will NOT work in reverse (learned the hard way). Also, it works really well. The picture looks great in 4K 60Hz. The cable is much lighter and more flexible than my old copper cable, making it easier to run around the attic. I'm assuming the durability will be okay, but I won't know for a long time. Good quality product but not cheap.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • May cause injury

Replacement cords and replacement cables didn't work at 4K 60Hz

This cable looks and packs like a reference quality audio cable, but I sent the replacement cable back right after the original cable and that Replacement cables could not capture and hold a 4K 60Hz image. My LG 4K monitor would intermittently disappear and then produce a new image, blanking the screen each time, while my Samsung 4K TV would not display any images at all. The symptoms on the LG monitor were the same for both cables, indicating a design flaw and not a manufacturing defect.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Works great in 4K over long distances

This HDMI fiber optic cable helps me a lot. I have a new 4k TV, works fine until I hooked up my computer to it. The computer is in another room. I try with a long regular HDMI cable but it doesn't work at 4k. After some research I finally settled on fiber but I really didn't want to spend a lot on cable. Compared to other fiber optic cables, I chose this one. It works well and transfers all the required 4K Full HDR bandwidth from my source to the TV very easily and without any problems. Very…

The PC doesn't even recognize it. (UPDATED)

Won't connect. Tried on many devices. Oh yes, that goes in the right direction :) Source at Source (example: PC) and Display on Display (example: TV screen) Well, at first it seemed to work a bit on some devices, then not on others, but testing was inconsistent and briefly worked on others before quitting. Tried this for some time and no results with any devices/displays. Conclusion: We were the few who received a defective product. Request a refund or replacement. and how do i send it back? I…

50 " cable, Full HDR10 and Dolby Vision, Perfect Image

The 50" version now works between my 75" Sony X900F receiver and Yamaha RX-V385. Room for 6 months (HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2 compliant) but I was never able to enable Dolby Vision on my Xbox One X due to "snow" and the image went black once for about 1/2 second even without this feature enabled . Pretty disappointing to have such a good setup. Speaking to a few people in the office, I learned that the cable is very close to its maximum rated bandwidth of 18.2 Gbps at its maximum setting. Normally

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

I took a chance on buying this HDMI cable because it was half the price of other fiber optic HDMI cables. I don't have a 4k setup yet but wanted to be ready so I bought this cable. I love how thin it is compared to thicker long HDMI cables. I also pushed it pretty tightly into the cable manager next to the power cord and it didn't break. If you're considering getting this cable but are put off by dodgy sounding reviews, I would suggest giving it a try. It looks solidly built and pairs with…
