I always overdo it a little when I'm working on my cars. Perfectionism is a curse folks! When installing rear and front cameras on my truck, I place this product on wires that run through the engine bay.

Seamless aluminized fiberglass tubing Cut to required length. Not easy to carry. Secure the ends under a hose clamp, stainless steel wire ties, aluminized heat reflective/resistance tape, or just leave them loose. Flexible enough to follow curves but stiff enough to hold its shape and not bloat. You will need to remove one end of the hose/wire/conduit to slide through the tube.

This stuff cleans my engine bay. I used it to cover rubber hoses connected to my heater, PCV and brake booster. If you order the right size to cover the OD of your tubing it will work well. I cut the screen about 3/16 on both sides and used electrical wires on the ends to prevent fraying and covered the band with hose clamps. Looks very clean and tidy.

I used this sheeting to cover the oxygen and propane gas lines for my wife's glass burner gas lines in her new studio. This will prevent accidental shards of molten glass from melting the lines and potentially leaking them. I simply fed the line through the pipe and used stainless steel zip ties to tighten the ends. Keeps lines flexible and safe from accidents.

The product worked great, I had a problem with my connectors where the antenna cable melted when going through a firewall. I found it worked great by folding it inwards before slipping it over the cable and securing it with metal ties at each end. No more smell of burning when idling.
