WORKS GREAT for computer accessories and peripherals

Although I left a bad review for the USB to IDE/SATA adapter, this adapter is top notch, the micro fan is great, it really moves the air, You won't hear it until you bring the item to your ear. (This will likely change over time now - once the fan wears out.) I've used this a few times before, using a USB-C to A adapter to connect to non-USB laptops -C did and it was great for backup/restore.

  • Shipping was very fast

really useful device

I recently bought a new laptop, I wanted to upgrade the NVME drive that came with it. I fitted a new drive to this unit, used the easyus software and transferred the contents of the original drive directly to the new one. Then I pulled out the new drive, plugged it into the laptop and it was done in about 10 minutes. It's faster than a flash drive, and I test the drive before I disassemble the laptop by booting from the USB port.

  • Satisfied so far

It gets hot and shuts off constantly.

Thought my nvme drive was cooling down. I think it made him hotter. Disconnected multiple times when transferring about 700GB of data from another USB drive. I've tried many different combinations of ports, USB controllers, cables, computers, and even phones, but couldn't stay connected long enough to transfer data. Use it with Samsung Evo 970 2TB. The longest without shutdowns was about 170GB with the cover removed and the fan underneath.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Plug and Play: Computer Accessories and Peripherals

This is definitely a handy device to have in your support toolbox. Our manager sent us a link to order them if we wanted to and I'm glad I did. We had some cases where the automatic migration tool didn't work properly and we had to migrate user data manually. This tool was a life saver. The only downside to this product is the small rubber stopper that holds the hard drive in place. It's very difficult to put it back in place if it accidentally pops out.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Easily Repairable

Nice NVME case

This case is not very pretty and a bit pricey. I chose this one because of the following merits. This is a larger flash drive. I hate extension cord cases.2. Has ventilation holes for heat dissipation. I put together a tiny external SSD with an mSata SSD a long time ago and I know the overheating problem. The vents really help. Tested on my old Samsung evo 256GB NVME SSD. It reached the advertised speeds with USB3.0 and USB3.1Gen2 connectors. The SSD temperatures were moderate under load and…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Requires power outlet

Works well with hard drives Accessories

I just received this today and was dying to try it. I have an A+ certificate, previously owned my own computer repair business and have been in the IT industry for almost 30 years. I also used to have a Cisco CCNA certificate (expired because I wasn't actively using it). Installing the M.2 drive was quick and easy. I cloned a 1TB WD NVMe drive in just over 36 minutes using Macrium Reflect. It worked flawlessly, unlike a tool-less WAVLINK USB-C to M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure with a heatsink enforcing

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are nuances
